We're excited to announce the opening of our Emerald Urgent Care clinic in Derry/Londonderry, welcoming patients from the 7th February. This expansion strengthens access to urgent care for patients across the North West of Ireland, offering fast treatment for urgent, but non-emergency conditions without long waits.
Our new Independent Urgent Treatment Centre provides same-day and walk-in appointments, seven days a week, delivered by experienced Paramedic Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
Urgent Care When GP Appointments Aren’t Available
We know many patients struggle to get timely GP appointments, particularly out of hours. Our clinics are designed to bridge the gap between GP services and hospital A&E, providing a safe, accessible alternative when your own GP is unavailable.
Following the success of our clinics in Belfast and Enniskillen, including strong demand from patients seeking a GP or urgent out-of-hours care in Enniskillen, we’re proud to now offer the same model in Derry/Londonderry.
A Proven Urgent Care Model Across Northern Ireland
Since opening our first clinic at Belfast’s Healthworks medical hub in 2025, followed by Enniskillen in December, demand for our services has continued to grow. Across all our clinics, we operate seven days a week.
By providing an alternative to overstretched GP practices and emergency departments, we help reduce pressure on the wider healthcare system whilst ensuring patients receive timely, professional care.

For patients unable to attend in person, our Virtual Clinic allows access to urgent care clinicians by phone or video. This is ideal for patients across Northern Ireland looking for out of hours care without making the trip in to see us.
Following a virtual consultation, patients can receive a diagnosis and have prescriptions sent directly to their local pharmacy. All without leaving home.

Appointments are available with Paramedic Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and GPs, either as a walk-in or via online booking.
