FREC 3- First Response Emergency Care

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC® 3) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for those providing emergency care in prehospital environments. Revised for 2025, this intensive five-day programme aligns with current Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC) guidance and Ofqual standards.

Participants develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage a wide range of medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and life-threatening situations. The course also incorporates enhanced training in areas such as airway management, pain relief, and the administration of naloxone within an appropriate clinical governance framework.

It is particularly suited to event medical personnel, security staff, and first responders who require a regulated qualification that extends beyond standard first aid training and supports progression into more advanced prehospital care roles.
